Closing Our Confetti This Storefront: Reflecting on October 31, 2025

Change is hard. But it’s also powerful.

On October 31, 2025, we officially closed the doors to the Confetti This Lifestyle Boutique. After years of creativity, community, and growth, it was time to pivot — intentionally, purposefully, and with our eyes on the next chapter.

This post is here to share what closing our storefront really meant, why we made the decision, and what it signals for the future of Confetti This and Dreamy Sips, Drips & Crumbles.

Why We Closed

Running a lifestyle boutique was a beautiful season, but it became clear that it no longer aligned with where the brand — or the founder — was headed.

Here’s why we made the call:

* Experience over inventory: We wanted to shift from managing products to creating experiences that our community could feel and remember.

* Focus on expansion: With plans to open new spaces in Alameda County and San Francisco, we needed to free up energy and resources to focus on bigger opportunities.

* Simplify operations: Managing overstock, product inventory, and boutique logistics became stressful. Closing allowed us to streamline operations and focus on what truly matters: creativity, connection, and community.

Honoring Our Journey

Confetti This started as a reflection of a creative life lived fully — handmade, heartfelt, and intentional.

From DIY workshops to the 52-Week Content Creator Posting Challenge, every moment led us here. Closing the boutique isn’t an ending. It’s an evolution. A conscious step toward:

  • Confetti This Comfort Lounge: A hands-on, experience-based creative space.

  • Dreamy Sips, Drips & Crumbles: Our upcoming treats and coffee brand.

  • Educational content & creator challenges: Sharing real-life entrepreneurship and creative growth.

What We Did With Overstock

Before closing, we wanted our community to benefit from our inventory:

  • Mystery Boxes & Bags: Packed with curated clothing, accessories, and beauty products. Please note: these Mystery Boxes and Bags are not available for purchase online. They can only be acquired in person at select events and pop-ups.

  • Special deals & clearance events: Giving followers a chance to grab treasures and memories from the boutique.

This wasn’t just about clearing space — it was about passing on joy, community, and connection.

Looking Forward

Closing the storefront marks the start of our next big chapter. Here’s what’s coming:

  • Relocation & Expansion: Moving into new commercial spaces to serve Alameda County and San Francisco.

  • Experience-based business model: Prioritizing workshops, DIY experiences, and community moments over traditional retail.

  • Dreamy Sips, Drips & Crumbles: Launching our treats and coffee brand alongside the lounge.

  • Content & Education: Continuing to document and share the journey through our blog, YouTube, and social media.

This pivot isn’t just change for change’s sake — it’s a strategic move to align our business with what we do best: creating, connecting, and cultivating joy.

Thank You for the Memories

We are so grateful for every person who shopped, attended workshops, joined a challenge, or shared a smile in the boutique. You made this journey memorable and meaningful.

Closing a door can be emotional, but it’s also necessary for growth. We’re excited for the next chapter and can’t wait to share it with you.

Stay connected and watch this space — the best of Confetti This is yet to come.
